ABOUT ME
I am Christian Hartmann, Austrian-Guatemalan photographer and architect. I bought my first camera in 2011, during my architecture career in Austria. I realized very quickly that photography was my passion.
I visited courses, read books, watched videos, but most of all I went out to take photos of anything. Over the years, I developed my knowledge and specialized in certain areas.
I am a nature lover, I love capturing unique landscapes and their wildlife. I have camped on active volcanoes; at almost 4000m; on top of a meter of snow with -15 C; walked 100km in tropical forests; etc. Everywhere my camera has accompanied me to take photos that impact, photos that make us reflect on the beauty that our planet offers.
I have not lost my love for architecture. I am fascinated by studying exterior and interior spaces and creating photographs that express the language of the architect, the interior design and its surroundings. Each architect / interior designer's work is worth being photographed as a work of art.
Finally, people photography. It goes from a portrait for your resume, to telling the story of your wedding through photography, capturing emotions is something unique. Be it your wedding, the welcome of your child to this world or "just" a tea / baby shower, etc ... I give all my knowledge and my passion to capture unforgettable memories that will accompany you for the rest of your lives.
